NCIC Awards Contract to Thyssenkrupp To Build Fertilizer Complex in Egypt

Cairo- Thyssenkrupp, in a consortium with Petrojet, has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from El Nasr Co. for Intermediate Chemicals (NCIC) for a new fertilizer complex in Ain El Sokhna, Egypt. The complex, expected to come on stream in 2022, will include the production of up to 440,000 t/y of ammonia, 380,000 t/y of urea and 300,000 t/y of calcium ammonium nitrate.
