EC Clears BASF's Proposed Purchase Of the Polyamide Business of Solvav

Brussels-The European Commission (EC) has approved, with conditions, BASF's planned acquisition of Solvay's polyamide business (PCN, 22 Oct 2018, p 4). In September 2017, BASF agreed to purchase the poly-amides business at an enterprise value of €1.6-billion. Closing is expected in the second half of 2019.
