MOL Lays Foundation Stone in Hungary For New Polvol Manufacturing Complex

Budapest-MOL announced that the foundation stone has been laid for its new €1.2-billion polyol manufacturing complex being built in Tiszaujvaros,Hungary(PCN,27 May 2019,p 1).The complex will include a hydrogen peroxide(HP)to propylene oxide(PO)facility with a production capacity of 200,000 t/y of PO.The PO will be converted into polyether polyols and propylene glycols.Operations are expected to begin in 2021.
