Grace Licenses Unipol Process to PetroChina For New PP Plant Being Set up in Jieyang

Beijing-PetroChina Guangdong Petrochemical Co.Ltd.has selected W.R.Grace & Co.'s Unipol PP process technology for a new polypropylene(PP)plant being built in Jieyang,,Guangdong Province,China.The 500,000-t/y PP facility,targeted for completion in 2023,will produce homopolymer,random copolymer and impact copolymer resins.It will be the”largest”single-line Unipol PP unit in China,Grace noted(see related story,page 2).
