BASF Expands Compounding Facility For PBT and Polyamide at Altamira

Altamira-BASF has begun operations at its expanded compounding plant in Altamira, Mexico, which increased production capacity of Ultradur polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and Ultra-mid polyamide by up to 15,000 t/y. With the expansion, the company's worldwide compounding capacity for PBT and polyamide will reach more than 750,000 t/y.
