摘要

Kalama- Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) has decided to invest in Northwest Innovation Works (NWIW), which plans to build a methanol facility in Kalama, Wash., and will provide and operate purpose-built next-generation ships to serve the new plant (PCN, 14 May 2018, p 1). The project, estimated to cost over $2-billion, will convert regionally-sourced natural gas into about 3.6-million t/y of methanol for export to Asia as feedstock for olefins.
