Caracas-Eni and Pequiven have restarted methanol production at their 50-50 Supermetanol joint venture in the Jose industrial complex in Venezuela, reported Argus Media citing industry sources. The 800,000-t/y methanol facility had been shut down in the second quarter of last year to repair leaks to a natural gas line and a steam valve.
