Baton Rouge— Vertellus said it has acquired Bercen Chemicals, a U.S. supplier of alkyl succinic anhydrides and additives, based in Denham Springs, La. "This acquisition expands the range of products that Vertellus is able to offer to the North American market," noted Jim Elliott, general manager of Vertellus' Anhydrides & Specialties business.
