KBR & JM Ink Alliance Pact to License NH3-Methanol Co-Production Process

Houston-KBR and Johnson Matthey (JM) announced they have signed an alliance agreement to license a "groundbreaking" ammonia (NH3)-methanol co-production process that combines their ammonia and methanol technologies. The co-production of ammonia and methanol in a single plant offers many advantages, including reduced capital expenditure (CAPEX) and lower operating costs (OPEX), the partners noted.
