Melbourne- BP Australia said it will study the feasibility of an export-scale renewable production facility in Western Australia that will produce green hydrogen, using onsite and/or grid-sourced renewable power, to be converted into green ammonia (NH3). The feasibility study will deliver a detailed techno-economic evaluation of pilot and commercial-scale green ammonia production plants in Geraldton. This will include an evaluation of different technologies and process configurations to manufacture green hydrogen/ammonia.
