BASF completes divestiture of stilbene-based OBAs business to Archroma India

BASF India Limited has closed the previously announced transaction to divest its stilbene-based Optical Brightening Agents (OBA) business for paper and powder detergents to Archroma India Private Limited effective December 06, 2019. Archroma India is a member of the Archroma Group, a global leader in color and specialty chemicals. The transaction includes the stilbene-based OBA product portfolio of BASF's Performance Chemicals and Care Chemicals division and the manufacturing unit at Ankleshwar, India.
