Ultra weathering resistance powder coatings equal to liquid PVDF coatings

PVDF is the abbreviation for polyvinylidene difluoride.PVDF is a fluoropolymer resin.Liquid PVDF based architectural coatings have high weathering resistance and excellent durability, Here our aim to develop the powder coating material which can meet same or similar performance compare to liquid PVDF performance.In this paper, detailed analysis of powder coating with Fluoro Ethylene Vinyl Ether(FEVE)coating, FEVE with polyester polyols blend and super durable powder coatings.Here Fluoro Ethylene Vinyl Ether(FEVE)with combination of Hydroxy terminated polyester to react with Isocyanate for better physical properties like impact resistance, flexibility and without compromising weathering resistance.The present work analyses advantages and disadvantages of FEVE in powder coatings.Different formulations of the powder coatings were herein studied to optimize their weathering resistance with different resin system to meet.
