Laparoscopic wedge resection (LWR) for small gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) is now widely accepted, but its application for large GISTs remains controversial. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility and safety of LWR for suspected large (>5 cm) gastric GISTs.
