For its show concept for PCHi,Spanish fragrance specialist Iberchem asked its perfumers to pick an ocean and-using the clean scents and raw materials popular among Chinese consumers-create a fragrance inspired by that ocean.These were the results: Southern Ocean by Antonio Palomino: Inspired by 18th century shipwreck the San Telmo,this fragrance recollects items that could have been on board: cedar wood boxes,bottles of vetiver oil and bags of nutmeg.Atlantic Ocean by Luz Vaquero: Channels the experience of sipping mojito on a Jamaican beach,mixing lemony and minty flavours with the warmth of the sun.Pacific Ocean by Encarni Lorente: Remembering California on a spring day,this brings together marigold and tuberose with watery accords.Indian Ocean by Maria-Angeles Santiago: Inspired by the sands of Unawatuna in Sri Lanka,subtle notes of rosemary and pepper recall the local cuisine.
