Cosme Tokyo did it again: the seventh edition of Japan's largest C&T trade show registered a record-breaking performance in terms of exhibitor and visitor figures.According to official statistics released by organiser Reed Exhibitions Japan,763 exhibitors from 30 countries presented their product innovations and cutting-edge cosmetic technologies at Cosme Tokyo 2019,with a total of 25,627 visitors attending Cosme Tokyo and its sister shows Cosme Tech and Inner Beauty Tokyo.This year,the trade show took place from 30 January-1 February at Makuhari Messe,the new location that Cosme Tokyo moved to back in 2018.The majority of exhibitors naturally came from Japan,but international exhibitor numbers also increased this year,with countries like Germany,Italy,France,Poland,China and Taiwan returning to Cosme Tokyo 2019.There were several new country pavillions such as the US,Canada and Russia,and the ongoing influence of K-beauty on the Japanese C&T market was reflected in the number of Korean exhibitors,which almost doubled compared with the 2018 trade show.
