French glassmaker Verescence has revealed that it is the supplier behind the red glass Chanel N°5 bottle that proved such a success over the 2018 holiday season. The bottle,available in 100ml,was manufactured at Verescence's site in Mers-les-Bains,France. Melted in a glass tank,the material only reveals its distinctive red colour after a complex manufacturing process called annealing,explained Verescence. Red glass has been made exclusively by the company for more than 30 years. Cosmogen has unveiled a roster of new application concepts at its first ever PCD event in Paris in January. New for the show was its Sculpting Glove,a patented,two-sided glove that exfoliates and massages the body;made from easy-to-use and easy-to-clean silicone,the glove has a’spiky’side for exfoliation and a’bumpy’side for circulation-boosting massage. Also new are Velvet Sponge,which has a soft feel and can be used to apply pressed or loose powder as well as’wet’products;the Squeeze'n Roll Spiky 030mm,which combines distribution with an intense massage;and Miracle Fan,a two-tip applicator for eye care with a stainless steel massage ball on one end and a soft touch silicone spatula at the other. The Tense Tube 019mm,meanwhile,is now available with an ergonomic ceramic tip,which provides a long lasting fresh effect during use.
