The Asia Pacific or’APAC region holds 32% of the global beauty and personal care marketplace,with an expected compound annual growth rate(CAGR)of 6.7% to 2024(Euromonitor International).It has also established itself as a hub for innovation.Reflecting this wealth of’newness',this year's in-cosmetics Asia will welcome more than 60 new exhibitors when it returns from 5-7 November 2019.These include Malaysian oleochemicals specialist Echo Chem;China's Hainan Zhongxin Chemical,which manufactures and distributes nutritional products;fragrances and botanical extracts specialist Orchidia Fragrances;and Sanyo Chemical from Japan,which makes performance chemicals.Educational programmes will include the Marketing Trends & Regulations presentations,with confirmed topics including premiumisation in beauty,K-beauty trends and native beauty products from Australia,New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.Tapping into these trends,the Innovation Zone will return to showcase the newest cosmetic ingredients on the market(launched within the past eight months),while the in-cosmetics Asia Awards 2019 will recognise the best of these in both functional and active ingredients categories.
