Spot prices of high-carbonferrochrome in Asia fell this week across theregion due to weak Chinese demand, marketsources said Friday.S&P Global Platts assessed the spot priceof 58-60% high-carbon ferrochrome at $0.87-$0.90/lb CIF China Friday, down from $0.91-$0.93/lb CIF China a week ago, and Japan'simport price of 60% material at $0.92-$0.94/lb CIF Japan, down from $0.94-$0.96/lb CIFJapan a week ago.
