August Latin American DRI output up 10.4% on year: worldsteel

Latin America’s direct-reduced ironproduction totaled 572,000 mt in August, up10.4% from the same month a year ago, WorldSteel Association estimates showed Tuesday.The production increased 4% on themonth, worldsteel said.
