US miner Coronado on Mondaylaunched an initial public offering in Australiaworth up to $1 billion, following the acquisition ofthe Curragh mine in Queensland earlier in 2018and amid plans to expand its US resources.Coronado Global Resources, which hasbroken into the top five seaborne coking coalfocusedminers globally with 20 million mtof total coal sales in 2017, is seeking to raisefunds on the Australian Securities Exchange,according to a company prospectus.
