Cliffs, USW reach tentative 4-year labor contract

A ratification vote byapproximately 1,800 union workers is expectedlater this week on a newly-reached tentativelabor agreement at Cleveland Cliffs’ miningoperations in Michigan and Minnesota, a UnitedSteelworkers union spokesman said Monday.The USW and Cleveland-based companyreached the four-year deal over the weekend.It would replace an existing labor contract thatexpired October 1.
