Russia supplies half of US pig iron imports through April

The US imported 395,601 mt ofpig iron in April and remains on pace to top 5million mt of annual imports for the secondconsecutive year. Through April, the US is onpace to bring in 5.18 million mt of pig iron whichwould top the 2017 total of 5.10 million mt andbe the highest since 2007 (5.2 million mt).
