FMG reduces contract discount for May FB, SSF cargoes

Australian miner FortescueMetals Group has decreased the termcontract discount for 58.3% Fe FortescueBlend fines cargoes and for 56.7% Fe SuperSpecial fines loading in May, contractcustomers told S&P Global Platts Monday.The discount for FMG's 58.3% FeFortescue Blend fines cargoes has beenreduced from 35% below the Platts IODEX inApril to 34% in May, while for 56.7% Fe SuperSpecial fines the discount decreased from40% in April to 39% in May.
