Bullish talk continues to persistin the US scrap market although mill buyersare questioning whether all the optimism wasdriven by fundamentals or by a large gatheringof scrap suppliers in St. Louis earlier this weekmixed with Section 232 speculation.“St. Louis Consumer’s Night is a bull festeven in the worst of markets,” one trader said.“So adding the 232 on top of that I imagine itwas euphoric. It does seem that markets are atleast firming a bit everywhere right now, but itall still feels a bit artificial and scary.”
