An auction of EU carbon dioxideallowances on Tuesday morning cleared ata six-year high of Eur9.53/mt -- the highestcarbon auction price since November 16, 2011.The carbon auction, hosted by Germany'sEuropean Energy Exchange on behalf of 25 EUmember state governments, also attractedenough bids to cover the volume almost fourtimes over, compared with the 12-monthaverage of 2.6 times covered.
