S&P Global Platts assessed Turkishimports of premium heavy melting scrap I/II(80:20) at $352.50/mt CFR Wednesday, down$8.50/mt from Tuesday’s assessment.A Baltic-origin cargo, reported to havebeen done late Tuesday, came to light onWednesday. The cargo comprised 9,000 mt80:20 at $354/mt, 16,000 mt shredded at$359/mt and 6,000 mt bonus material at $364/mt. The deal was confirmed by the buyer, aMarmara-based mill.
