Eramet's 2019 manganese ore production up 10% on year

London—French mining and metallurgy group Eramet said its full-year 2019 production of manganese ore increased 10% to 4.765 million mt at its Comilog operations in Gabon. The Paris-listed company said late Wednesday fourth-quarter production of manganese ore fell 2.3% year on year to 1.309 million mt. Full-year 2019 production of manganese alloy increased 2.8% to 740,000 mt, while fourth-quarter output decreased 18.9% to 163,000 mt, the company said.
