Singapore—Capesize trading was little slow Thursday and there were no significant changes in the freight markets in both the Pacific and Atlantic basins. The freight forward agreement market saw small gains but failed to retrieve the physical market. "FFA is moving up a bit, but physical [market is]... deadly quiet," a Capesize ship-operating source said. Activity was scant during Asian trading hours after several busy days this week and market players deciphered it as a sign of resistance from owners.
