Turkish billet could hit $450/mt as scrap seen hitting $300/mt: DLT

Bursa, Turkey—As bullish raw materials pricing continued to dominate the steel market, Turkish long steel pricing is likely to rise further in the coming days, according to Onur Altintas, head of commodity trade at trading company DLT. Altintas told S&P Global Platts on Aug. 6 that he is expecting imported scrap prices to touch $300/mt CFR in the next 10 days amid bullish pricing sentiment.
