S&P Global Platts assessed Premium Low Vol coal down $2.25/mt at $116/mt FOB Australia Friday, while PLV CFR China coal was up 25 cents/mt at $127.25/mt CFR China. A trade for 85,000 mt of Australian Premium Low Vol Saraji coal was concluded late Friday at $127.50/mt CFR China with June 15-24 laycan. This was sold with seller's option to deliver Peak Downs at $128.50/mt for the same volume and laycan, sold to a southeast China steelmaker.
