Fortescue trims discount for March FBF, SSF iron ore contracts: customers

Singapore—Australian miner Fortescue Metals Group narrowed its price discount for the 58.3% Fe Fortescue Blend and 56.7% Fe Super Special iron ore fines term contracts for March-loading cargoes, contract customers said Thursday. The discount for FMG's 58.3% Fe FBF cargoes was 11% against Platts' IODEX assessments in March, down from 12% in February, they said. For 56.7% Fe SSF, the discount was 16% in March, down from 18% in February, the customers added.
