London—Molybdenum oxide powder prices saw no support at $8/lb in Europe as pressure from a lack of inquiries seemed to increasingly frustrate sellers. The Platts Daily Dealer Molybdenum Oxide assessment was at $7.80-$8.10/lb June 19, down from $8-$8.20/lb June 18. Market participants said there was no surprise that deals were struck at $7.80/lb in Rotterdam when business in Asia was well done at $8/lb.
