London—Atlantic met coal prices were unchanged Sept. 23, remaining steady after the previous week’s climbs, despite improving demand in Europe and India, as the Asia-Pacific market was relatively stable. Most market participants seemed to be cautiously optimistic about the market, saying demand was noticeably better than it had been in previous months.
