Australian miner Stanmore beats coal production guidance despite COVID-19 impact

Sydney—Australian metallurgical coal miner Stanmore posted record ROM production and guidance-beating saleable production for fiscal 2019-2020 (July-June) despite some pandemic-related impacts seen in the April-June period, the company said July 28. The ROM production for the 12-months stood at 3.02 million mt, up 3% on the year. For the April-June period, it was 638,000 mt, down 27% from a year ago and 22% weaker on the quarter.
