S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $255/mt CFR June 3, up 50 cents/ mt on day. “The mills will ease up buying activity, in my opinion,” a Turkish mill source said. A second Turkish mill source cited a tradable value for premium HMS 1/2 (80:20) at $255/mt CFR and above, while a Turkish agent source also cited a tradable value for premium HMS 1/2 (80:20) at the same level.
