London—Black Sea merchant pig iron prices increased over the past week on the back of recent bookings and offers heard in the market, but the outlook has become more shaky, sources said Friday. S&P Global Platts' weekly pig iron assessment was $327.50/mt FOB Black Sea, up $12.50/mt week on week, in recognition of recent orders from the US and Italy.
