India reviews tariffs on CR flat stainless steel from seven sources; five-year renewal likely

Singapore—India has begun a sunset review to renew antidumping duties on cold-rolled flat stainless steel products imported from China, the European Union, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the US for another five years, the country’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry said Sept. 30. The review covers "Cold-Rolled Flat Products of Stainless Steel of width 600 mm to 1,250 mm and above 1,250 mm" over April 2019 to March 2020, which typically marks the start and end of an Indian fiscal year.
