Singapore—Asia-Pacific metallurgical coal spot prices were supported by a new booking in the premium hard coking coal segment concluded on a CFR basis. S&P Global Platts assessed Premium Low Vol steady at $111.25/mt FOB Australia July 21, while PLV CFR China was steady at $121.50/mt CFR China. A trade was done July 21 at $121.50/mt CFR China for 85,000 mt of an Australian Premium Low Vol Saraji with an August 11-20 laycan. This was sold to a Northeastern Chinese end user.
