Iron ore shipments from majors fall 12% on week over July 5-11: cFlow

Singapore—Iron ore shipments from five major producers (Vale, Rio Tinto, BHP, Fortescue Metals Group and Roy Hill) fell by 12% to 21.09 million mt in the July 5-11 week, according to S&P Global Platts cFlow data. This was a “mixed bag” in terms of individual performance, with shipments from Rio Tinto and FMG increasing, while export volumes from BHP, Vale and Roy Hill dropped, according to cFlow. The data should be used as an indication only and may not capture all vessel movements and volumes.
