Singapore—With the Asian seaborne met coal market on a downtrend since the beginning of 2019, participants are looking to the La Nina in Australia for some pricing support. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology, or BOM, declared a 70% chance of a La Ni?a in the country, issuing a "La Ni?a alert" on Aug. 18. The weather condition typically results in increased rainfall.
