Singapore—Tokyo Steel Manufacturing, Japan’s leading EAF mill, has announced another cut in domestic scrap bids amid improved supply in the local market, marking the company's fifth cut in 10 days. Bids for various scrap grades were lowered across all four of its mills, with the biggest cut of Yen 1,500/mt ($14/mt) seen to its Utsunomiya mill in the Kanto region.
