London—European ferrosilicon demand saw an uptick over the week, pulling up prices to steel mills, market participants said on Friday. Market participants said mills requiring prompt delivery were paying a slight premium compared with the previous week. A deal was heard in Poland at €1,270/mt DDP, while a mill in Spain was heard to have bought a small volume above €1,300/mt DDP.
