London—Chinese-owned-British Steel said it has resumed operational control of 9 million mt/year capacity Immingham Bulk Terminal in northeast England, after agreeing a deal with Associated British Ports. The transfer of the terminal from Associated British Ports follows Hebei-based Jingye Group’s takeover of British Steel, which was finalized in March. No financial terms were disclosed, in a British Steel statement on August 3.
