Europe ferrous scrap March contracts set to rise Eur10/mt

Monthly ferrous scrap contracts in Europe are forecast to increase month on month triggered by tight supply and good domestic demand from buyers, market sources told S&P Global Platts Monday. European long mills and scrap producers are in discussions for March contracts with most of the scrap producers that have already closed deals at Eur10/mt. S&P Global Platts' North European scrap monthly index this week moved to Eur275/ mt delivered to mill in Germany from the previous Eur265/mt del, while the south European index moved from Eur 280 del to Eur290/mt.
