Sao Paulo—Vale’s shipped 85.11 million mt of iron ore products in the third quarter of the year, a fall of 13% from the year-ago period, the company said Friday. Of this total, iron ore fines shipments accounted for 73.61 million mt, down 12% from Q3 2018, while pellets shipments totaled 11.07 million mt, down 22% in the same period.
