Taiwan containerized scrap prices rallied for a 10th consecutive week, as mills caved in to stronger offers, market sources said Friday. S&P Global Platts daily TSI HMS I/II 80:20 containerized scrap spot price was assessed at $270/mt Friday, up $5/mt from a week ago. HMS I/II 80:20 deals were heard ranging between $268-$270/mt CFR through the week, with the latest deals reaching $270/ mt Thursday, market sources said. Offers this week were ranging at a level $270-$275/ mt CFR Taiwan, up $5/mt on the week too.
