Metso to deliver pellet plant to Tata's Kalinganagar

Finland’s Metso Corp. said Thursday it won an order to deliver a large-scale iron ore pellet plant and related engineering services to Tata Steel’s Kalinganagar plant in Odisha state in India. The new pellet plant will be equipped to be able to use a dual fuel burner and a burner management system to enable a wide variety of iron ore feeds, Metso said in a statement. The engineering company did not comment on the cost of the contract or the delivery date.
