Mexico Feb auto output down 5% on year

Mexico’s automobile output in February decreased 5% year on year to 311,833 units, data from national automotive industry association AMIA showed Tuesday. Over the January-February period, Mexico produced just over 645,510 vehicles, up 2.1% from the year-ago period. Mexico sold 103,679 vehicles in the domestic market in February, 5.5% lower compared with the year-ago month with 109,698 units.
