Ukraine’s Ferrexpo sees stable iron ore pellet output this year

Ukraine-focused iron ore miner Ferrexpo said Tuesday it expects iron ore pellet production to be unchanged in 2019 from 2018’s 10.6 million mt, as ongoing maintenance at operations limits volumes. Ferrexpo said 2018 sales hit 10.2 million mt, down from 10.5 million mt in 2017, in a trading update. The company’s capacity is rated at 12 million mt/year.
