Singapore—South Korea’s domestic ferrous scrap prices fell for the second straight week on lackluster demand for the raw material, market sources said. The price for domestic Light A grade, which is similar to the Japanese H2 grade, was heard in the Won 280,000-285,000/ mt range on Wednesday, down Won 8,500 from a week ago with the mid-point at Won 282,500 ($238/mt), delivered to mill, excluding VAT, in cities including Pohang and Busan.
